Alam Maritim nabs second PFLNG1 subcontract

Alam Maritim Resources informed it has entered into a second subcontract with Malaysia’s oil and gas giant Petronas for the company’s first floating liquefied natural gas (PFLNG 1) facility.

A filing to the stock exchange reveals that Alam Maritim has been awarded subcontract works for the FLNG offshore works of final positioning and mooring system hook-up.

The job includes flexible riser installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of the pipeline, pipeline ends terminal and riser from KAKG platform to FLNG for the Petronas’ project, according to Alam.

The deal is valued at RM53.5 million, and the duration for the subcontract works is effective from June 15 this year to April 30, 2016.

The company has already completed first subcontract works for the engineering, procurement, installation and related activities for the FLNG offshore works – mooring system installation.
