Anadarko names exec VP for international & deepwater ops

U.S. oil and gas company Anadarko has made several changes to the company’s leadership.

Anadarko said on Wednesday that Daniel E. Brown was named the new executive vice president of international and deepwater operations while Darrell E. Hollek, the former executive vice president of operations, would serve as a senior adviser until his retirement later this year.

Also, the company appointed Bradley J. Holly as the executive VP of U.S. onshore exploration and production.

Anadarko Chairman, President and CEO, Al Walker, said: “Danny and Brad have each been with Anadarko for the last two decades, and have demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities during their careers. We are fortunate to have widely respected, experienced and proven leaders like Danny and Brad to drive the next chapter of growth and value creation for Anadarko’s U.S. onshore, deepwater Gulf of Mexico and international assets.”

“We owe Darrell our gratitude for his many contributions over the last 37 years. We will continue to benefit from his insight over the next several months in his advisory role and wish him all the best in retirement.”

Brown began his career with the company in 1998. Most recently, Brown served as a senior VP for international and deepwater operations. He has held a variety of positions within Anadarko, including VP of operations for Anadarko’s Southern and Appalachia Region, VP of corporate planning, business advisor for planning and reserves in the Gulf of Mexico, and engineering roles in both the U.S. onshore and the Gulf of Mexico.

Holly began his career in 1994 with Amoco and joined Anadarko in 1997. He most recently served as senior VP for U.S. onshore exploration and production. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper appointed Holly to the Task Force on State and Local Regulation of Oil and Gas Operations in 2014.
