Ebara Appoints New CEO

Ebara International Corporation (EIC) appointed of Tadashi Urata as its new chief executive officer.

Urata has been with Ebara Corporation (EC) for 32 years and brings a wealth of pump industry experience to EC’s North American pump and fluid machinery business.

Urata joined Ebara Corporation in 1982. Throughout his years with Ebara, Urata has carried a variety of positions including Vice President of Engineering at Ebara Fluid Handling (SC, USA), General Manager of the Components Products Department (Fujisawa Plant, Japan) and most recently, President of Ebara Technologies (CA, USA).

I have received tremendous support in my return to EIC,” stated Urata. “Ebara Corporation has always believed that having a talented, motivated work force is the most important key to building a successful business and EIC is no exception. EIC has a great deal of opportunity to grow and expand in its various segments, and the future looks very bright.
