Marine Resources OKs dredging for Gulf LNG

The Commission on Marine Resources Tuesday gave Gulf LNG the go-ahead to dredge 61.3 acres of Bayou Casotte and fill in more than 15 acres near the site of the company’s proposed liquefied natural gas facility.

The commissioners also approved a second wetlands permit application that will allow the developers of a proposed recreational vehicle park and marina in Gautier to fill in .93 acre of wetlands for their project.
