Wärtsilä’s gas power plant order to California received permissions

In April 2006 Wärtsilä Corporation was selected to deliver a 163 MWe gas-fired power plant to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) in California. The project was subject to the approval of the California Public Utility Commission and environmental permits issued by the California Energy Commission.
All approvals have now been received and the order has been included in Wärtsilä’s order book in March 2008. The value of the project is more than EUR 100 million
