Norden bulker saved 13 crew members from sinking ship

The D/S Norden controlled bulk carrier Nord Explorer rescued the crew of 13 from the German controlled container carrier Pacific in the Southern Atlantic, as the latter one started to leak and rapidly became unstable. The Pacific captain made a distress call and the nearest vessel Nord Explorer, which was on a voyage from Abidjan to the Far East, reached the Pacific after two and a half hours and was able to pick up the crew members.
