GE Shipping sells crude carrier

Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd., (GE Shipping) today said it has signed a contract to sell Aframax crude carrier ‘Jag Leena’.

The sale of the 1985 built crude carrier was in line with the increasing preference towards double hull tankers – a ship equipped with double skin of steel separated by a distance of 2 to 3.5 meters, depending on the size of the ship.
