Record shipment of yachts heads for the Caribbean on a semi-submersible

Yesterday, November 3, the 556-foot Super Servant 4, one of Dockwise Yacht Transport’s (DYT) fleet of four semi-submersible ships, left Newport, R.I., with a record load of 50 recreational cruising and racing boats, worth more than $41 million. It’s another straw in the wind that boating is leading the economic recovery. More good news comes from boat shows this fall, and from sign-ups for shows starting in January.
