NZ boat wins in Italy

A New Zealand boat has enjoyed success at the prestigious Maxi Yacht Regatta in Italy.

The super maxi Alfa Romeo took the honours in the nine-boat racing category, winning four of the six races.

At the helm of the 98 footer was Team New Zealand’s Ben Ainslie.

The regatta, at the Costa Smeralda Yacht Club in Porto Cervo, represented further success for the boat’s owner Neville Crichton.
