Incat Crowther Opens Office in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Incat Crowther is opening an new office in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The office has been created to meet the growing demand for Incat Crowther’s products and services in South America and puts the company at the centre of the South American Offshore Oilfield industry.

The Group has experienced significant international growth. This is a result of a track record of diverse vessel designs and unique consulting services. The office in Brazil is a reflection of this growth and will initially target specialised high speed aluminium ships for the local offshore support market.

These include Fast Supply Vessels, High Speed Crew Vessels, Offshore Support Vessels, Dive Support Vessels, Oil Recovery Vessels and Patrol Vessels.

As Incat Crowther has grown, it has developed robust business systems resulting in ISO9001 certification in 2012. The Brazilian office capitalises on the capability and expertise of the Incat Crowther Group, by using well established cloud-based systems and procedures to deliver services locally with the quality and customer service core to the Incat Crowther culture.

The Brazilian office is already involved in several large projects. These include three 42.5m DSVs for Sistac Marine, twelve 48m UT4000 crew boats under construction at ETP Engenharia, and a three classes of crew boat at Arpoador with the first 45m P3 crew boat (BS Maresias) recently successfully delivered.
