Inocean to Work with Hyundai Heavy on Bollsta Dolphin Project

Inocean is supporting Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) with compliance-expertise in the building of the semisubmersible drilling rig, Bollsta Dolphin, for Fred Olsen Energy.

In May 2012 HHI won the order to build a semisubmersible drilling rig for Fred Olsen Energy. The rig will be built according to Norwegian Continental Shelf requirements.

To be able to meet the rules, regulations and standards relevant for the contract, HHI has asked for assistance from Inocean.

Inocean`s scope of work includes identifying of regulations which need to be met in the various areas on board the unit, assist in workshops relevant for verifying compliance as well as preparation of verification documentation forming a basis for documentation that makes the vessel eligible for operations on the Norwegian shelf. The work is carried out in Oslo and Korea.
