In its monthly report, the ministry shows the contract-based price reached $9.2 per mmBtu, 14.8 percent below the $10.8 per mmBtu price in November 2018, and 9.8 percent below the $10.2 per mmBtu recorded in December 2017.

The arrival-based price also decreased month on month, dropping 7.8 percent from $11.5 per mmBtu in November 2018 to $10.6 per mmBtu in the month under review.

Compared to the corresponding month in 2017, however, the arrival-based price rose 30.9 percent from $8.1 per mmBtu.

Only spot LNG cargoes are taken into account in this assessments, excluding short, medium and long-term contract cargoes, as well as those linked to a particular price index.
