JMU Names POSH-TERASEA's 3rd Raptor class Vessel

Japan Marine United Corp (JMU) – Yokohama KN (Tsurumi Shipyard) today, Nov 29th, held a naming ceremony for POSH-TERASEA’s third Raptor class AHTS, the TERASEA EAGLE (Yard No. 0078).

The vessel was named by Mrs K. Akiyama, spouse of Mr M. Akiyama of SMBC.

The TERASEA EAGLE is powered by two WARTSILA 12V32 main engines of 8150 hp each, giving the vessel a total output of 16.300 HP, for 203 ton Bollard Pull and maximum free running speed of 15 knots.

The fourth and last Raptor class (Yard No.0079) under construction under at JMU is scheduled for delivery in February 2014.
