Q-Flex heading for South Hook LNG terminal

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to receive another delivery of liquefied natural gas from Qatar in February.

The Q-Flex LNG carrier Al Kharaitiyat, with the capacity of 216,000 cbm is sailing towards the terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway and is set to deliver its cargo on February 19, port data shows.

Al Kharaitiyat will deliver the fifth February cargo of chilled gas from Qatar to the South Hook terminal.

One of Europe’s largest LNG import terminals, South Hook is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total. The terminal is able to process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG per year.
