REN-operated Sines LNG import terminal in Portugal is set to receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from Qatar over the weekend.

According to the shipping data from Porto de Sines, the 137,660-cbm LNG carrier Dukhan is delivering a cargo from the liquefied natural gas complex in Ras Laffan.

The vessel is scheduled to deliver the load on August 10 the port data shows.

Portugal’s only LNG import facility in Sines port has a nominal sendout capacity of 600,000 cubic meters per hour (5.26 bcm per year), with a peak capacity of 900,000 cubic meters per hour.

Portugal mostly imports LNG from Nigeria, Algeria and Qatar.
