The Rotterdam Offshore Community is to have its own pavilion at Offshore Energy 2018, enabling members to present themselves in one location at this exhibition for the first time. The Rotterdam Offshore Community Pavilion with 22 participants includes various companies as well as the ports of Rotterdam, Schiedam, Moerdijk and the Drecht Cities.
"In previous years the port authority and other Rotterdam-based companies have all exhibited independently of each other at Offshore Energy," comments Joost Eenhuizen, business manager at the Port of Rotterdam Authority. "This year many of these companies have joined forces within the Rotterdam Offshore Community."
The Rotterdam Offshore Community was set up by the Port of Rotterdam Authority and Rotterdam Port Promotion Council for companies in the offshore industry active or based in the port of Rotterdam region. The Community welcomes companies from the offshore oil & gas energy sectors, offshore wind and decommissioning sector. Cooperation, sharing knowledge and business are the key focus areas.
