Genel Energy has informed that no hydrocarbons have been found at its exploration well offshore Ivory Coast. The company on Thursday said that the Aigle-1X exploration well on the CI-508 licence was process of being plugged and abandoned after failing to encounter hydrocarbons. The completion of this well concludes Genel’s committed Côte d’Ivoire drilling programme, the company added.
