    Rockhopper Exploration has spudded a new South Atlantic exploration well off the Falkland Islands targeting an extension of the Sea Lion oil discovery. Drilling on the 14/10-3 commenced at 17.00 hours on 13 January, Rockhopper said, and is located 8 kilometres (5 miles) northwest of the 14/10-2 Sea Lion discovery in licence PL032.
