Seaspan names Hoegh LNG Partners director as CFO

Hong Kong-based Seaspan Corporation, the charter owner and manager of containerships informed it has named David Spivak, currently a director of Höegh LNG Partners, as its CFO. 

Spivak, who brings over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and global capital markets, will join the company on May 2, 2016, Seaspan’s statement revealed.

Most recently, he served as president and founder of Brockstreet Consulting, where he advised companies on corporate finance matters.

He replaces Mark Chu who will continue to serve as interim CFO until the arrival of Spivak.

Once Spivak takes his position, Chu will continue in his current roles as Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel.
