Offshore Wind Conference - day 2
The changing dynamics of offshore energy The dynamics of offshore energy are changing as offshore electricity generation, led by Europe’s North Sea, rises alongside the large-scale development of offshore oil and gas. Offshore energy resources are huge and costs for new projects are coming down, but many developments still face significant market, policy and, in some cases, technology uncertainties. This presentation will unpick some of the recent developments, explore how the contribution of offshore energy evolves in different future scenarios, and examine the potential synergies between different offshore activities.
