Tembek LNG carrier heading for South Hook

South Hook LNG terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is scheduled to receive a cargo from Qatar next week.

The 216,000 cbm LNG carrier Tembek is scheduled to dock at the South Hook jetty on April 26, data from the Milford Haven Port Authority reveals.

The delivery will come only four days after LNG carrier Al Khattiya unloads its cargo on April 22.

Tembek LNG carrier was the first LNG carrier to berth at the South Hook jetty in 2009, delivering the terminal’s commissioning cargo.

One of Europe’s largest LNG import terminals, South Hook, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, is able to process 15.6 million tons of LNG per year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas per year into the UK’s national transmission system.
