Tepco Sep LNG imports climb

Japan’s utility Tokyo Electric Power said its imports of LNG in September were at 2.22 million tonnes, up 23.2 compared to 1.8 million tonnes in September of 2013.

Tepco used 1.86 million tons of LNG in September, compared to 1.93 million tonnes the company consumed in September last year.

In April-September period, Tepco bought 11.96 million tonnes and consumed 11.37 million tonnes of LNG.
