Torgem Shipyard Builds 45m Offshore Patrol Boat

Torgem Shipyard is right on track with the construction of the Macduff-designed 45m offshore security patrol boat scheduled for launching later this year.

With the outfitting now well underway, the vessel will be used to patrol offshore installations in the Arabian waters.

Featuring a quadruple engine installation, the vessel will be able to reach speeds of 35 knots and will provide accommodation for a complement of 18 crew members.

Kort propulsion is supplying fixed pitch propeller systems to Torgem for the vessel..
