Statoil will stop production at the Snohvit LNG plant to inspect the sub-cooling unit.
The scheduled maintenance stutdown will be performed in the third quarter.
Snohvit is located approximately 87 miles (140 kilometers) northwest of Hammerfest, Norway, in the Hammerfest Basin.
Statoil serves as the operator, holding a 33.53% interest.
Project partners include Petoro with 30%, Total with 18.4%, Gaz de France with 12%, Hess with 3.26% and RWE DEA with 2.81%.
