Beach Energy Issues Unlisted Performance Rights (Australia)

Beach Energy Ltd wishes to advise that on 1 December 2010 it issued 5,453,895 unlisted performance rights to Beach executives following shareholder approval at the Beach’s annual general meeting held on 25 November 2010. Beach Energy Ltd wishes to advise that on 1 December 2010 it issued 5,453,895 unlisted performance rights to Beach executives following shareholder approval at the Beach’s annual general meeting held on 25 November 2010.

The unlisted performance rights expire on 30 November 2015 and subject to meeting performance criteria ,are not exercisable before 1 December 2013, for nil consideration.

Following this issue, Beach now has the following unlisted options and rights on issue:

2,425,000 tranche A unlisted options expiring 30 November 2013

2,425,000 tranche B unlisted options expiring 30 November 2013

1,568,280 tranche C unlisted options expiring 30 November2013

3,764,958 unlisted options expiring 27 February 2015

4,563,187 unlisted rights expiring on 30 November 2013

5,453,895 unlisted performance rights expiring on 30 November 2015.
