L&N will manufacture and supply 110 subsea control products to be deployed on various North Sea subsea projects.

The award reinforces L&N’s decision to focus on the subsea sector while maintaining its traditional business lines in valve supply and maintenance and welding and cladding services.

L&N (Scotland) managing director, Alastair Chalmers , said: “ We have made a significant investment in equipment, technology and training to offer these specialist subsea services and that investment is now paying off.

“ We have been successful in expanding the subsea side of our business and in securing contracts with a number of important E&P companies and this will underpin future growth .”

L&N (Scotland) operations director, Craig Finnie , added: “ We are delighted GE VetcoGray has opted to place these contracts with us and look forward to strengthening our relationship with them by completing these projects on time and on budget.”
