Bourbon Oceanteam 104 multi purpose support vessel will Friday June 17th change name into “Southern Ocean.” SALT/ TS Marine have the vessel on a bareboat contract from the owner company OB 4 AS and has appointed Bourbon Offshore Norway as ship manager. The decision of name change was taken upon start of bareboat contract but have been postponed due to vessels activity in Australia.
Southern Ocean is the deep-sea south/south west of the Australian continent. Name change and christening ceremony will take place at Keppel shipyard in Singapore with wife of Chairman in TS Marine John Edwards as godmother.
