API Marine wins large contracts for supply of Cargo Control and Automations Systems for multiple series of new buildings in Russia. API Marine has signed new contracts with two Russian shipyards – JSC “Zavod Krasnoe Sormovo” and JSC “Okskaya Sudoverf” for supply of full Cargo Control, Alarm and Automation system for the total of 31 new buildings.

The new ships are two series of river-sea tankers of project RST27, developed to the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class requirements. With the deadweight of 6980 tons, the vessels are designed for transportation of crude oil and petroleum products, providing simultaneous transportation of two types of cargo. The scope of supply from API Marine includes in addition to the full integrated Cargo Control system – MasterLoad Cargo Planning & Loading Computer systems.

Equipment delivery extends until the end of 2013, first delivery commencing on October, 2011.

Strong position of API Marine in the Russian market, combined with a well-proven system concept of in-house dedicated technology, efficient logistic chain, service and support – has placed API Marine among the key suppliers to the fast growing market for river-sea tankers, transporting oil and chemical products, which is ensured by continued development of comprehensive infrastructure of Russian rivers, connecting the Baltic, Black and Caspian seas.

The new contracts add to the already existing series of river-sea tankers under construction at shipyards in Russia and Turkey – to be equipped with the API Marine full integrated Cargo Control, Alarm and Automation systems.
