On September 23, 2011 the board director and president of China Shipping Group Co. (CS) Mr. Xu Li Rong with his party came to CIC to carry on a work investigation. Group vice president and the president of CIC, Mr. Lin Jian Qing accompanied the investigation.
The party members from CS attending the investigation were, Mr. Li Xue Qiang, the general manager of enterprise management dept., Mr. Yang Ji Gui, general manager of plannig & accounting dept., Mr. Gu Zhengdong, vice general manager of shipping dept., Mr. Gu Quan Lin, vice manager of president’s office, Mr. Zhu Chang Yu, manager of research dept., as well as Mr. Zheng Li, chief of development department. The general manager Wu Cheng Ye, party secretary Yao Guo Jian of CIC made a collective report. Mr. Xu Li Rong gave full affirmation to “repair and new building simultaneously” development strategy adopted by CIC in recent years and the result from the persistence of the reform and the development.
The president Xu Li Rong pointed out that through the investigation at CIC it’s very much inspired for the result obtained by CIC. He concluded six characteristicses for CIC that has changed an old enterprise in the short run into a new style enterprise induced and he’s full of confidence to the development of CIC. In the meantime, he expected earnestly that CIC would work well at eight aspects, and he requested CIC to make great efforts to become the pillar industry of CS.
The vice president of CS Lin Jian Qing presided the investigation meeting and pointed out that CIC should enlarge execution of the safety system, build up a personnel mechanism which is not limited to one type, pay special attention and strengthen the information-based construction.
During the investigation the group leadership also visited 10000dwt offshore heavy object wharf and “CS Emeishan” floating dock of 85000t. lifting capacity and other major facilities at CIC Changxing Shipyard.
CIC’s management personnel and staff to the group’s concern, support and help is deeply encouraged. It is known the top management of CIC held already a meeting on that day and studied to seriously carry out the work deployment of the group leadership’s important designation.
