On Tuesday 27 September Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding launched the first Super Green 8500 for Carisbrooke Shipping.
Three more vessels of the same series are at the moment under constrcution. After the ‘SUPER GREEN 8500′ a series of ‘SUPER GREEN 10000′ vessels is planned to be build. All vessels have the eye catching Groot Cross-Bow.
The 8,500dwt Super Green 8500 Groot’s design is a multi-purpose cargo ship, and as well as the innovative bow it features low-resistance hull lines and an energy-saving propeller and nozzle configuration.
