On the 15th of March Brodotrogir d.d. carried out the delivery ceremony for the chemical tanker Amorina. The tanker, which was launched in July last year, is being built for Siteam Navigator Shipping Co.Pte.Ltd., of the Laurin Maritime AB group.

The delivery documents were signed by Bo Walter on behalf of the buyer and Mateo Tramontan, the director of Brodotrogir.

The ship is 182,90m in length and 32,20m wide, run by the main engine power of 8200kW, produced in the neighboring shipyard Brodosplit. Unlike previous ships, it also has modified cargo space on 10+2 tanks, to find a rational solution in the current market conditions.

The ship was constructed for transporting chemicals and petroleum products up to 45,470 DWT with a speed of 15 knots. The cooperation with the well-known Swedish company Laurin Maritime dates from 1999., and has developed into an excellent business cooperation and friendship with the result of eleven tankers – TARANTELLA, TINTOMARA, TAPATIO, TOCCATA, TOSCA, TAMBOURIN, CAVATINA, CALYPSO, CORRIDO with AMORINA which was delivered, and another one waiting on the slipway to be launched in April.
