No LNG cargoes where imported by Thailand in February, according to trade statistics.

The country received one cargo from Yemen and one from Peru in January.

Thailand has only one LNG terminal, which is located at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong province, and it joined the club of LNG importing countries with the completion of the terminal in May of 2011.

The Map Ta Phut terminal has a five-million-ton regasification train with two 160,000m³ LNG storage tanks, a jetty, a boil-off gas recondensor, a send-out station and an LNG pump.
