Almi Tankers S.A. recently took delivery of M/T Almi Globe at DSME’s Okpo Shipyard. The Hull No. 5356, a 157,430 DWT crude oil tanker M/T Almi Globe is the third Green Suezmax of the newbuilding programme that was built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd (DSME) to the highest industry standards.

It flies the Liberian flag and is classed under Lloyd’s Register.

The Almi Globe’s delivery is in line with the set business plan, under which Almi Tankers S.A. steadily moves towards the fulfillment of its long term goal of growing into a reliable tanker management company characterised by its operational integrity.

Like her sister ships, the vessel was designed in accordance with the latest regulations and industry requirements in order to satisfy customer needs. Special emphasis was placed on creating an environmentally friendly design and the Almi Globe was issued all necessary environmental regulations’ Compliance Certificates by Lloyd’s Register. The vessel specifications reflect our aim of ensuring reliable and efficient operation throughout the vessel’s life.
