Hartlepool Mail reports that the construction on the Teesside Offshore Wind Farm stopped after one of the legs of a mobile platform got trapped in the seabed mud.
EDF Energy Renewables, which confirmed this information, is working with the contractor Van Oord UK to free the leg in order to proceed with the construction.
The project has progressed well until this point, so any delays can be avoided when the work resumes, subject to good weather conditions.
