Ortigas & Co. has announced it will spend P300 million for a 1.5 kilometer river protection system around the Circulo Verde.
“ The project will be completed by June next year and will help increase the carrying capacity of the Marikina River,” said the company statement.
According to interaksyon.com, Joey F. Santos, Ortigas & Co. senior vice president , stated “ The river protection wall will increase the average width of the river around Circulo Verde by 43 percent from 46.3 meters to 66.3 meters. ”
