The mayor of Valle del Mena, Armando Robredo, the Director General of Gas Natural Castille and León, Jesús Marcos, and the company representative in Burgos, Palencia and Soria, Susana Morcillo, recently presented to local residents with the new gasification project which is to be developed in this Burgos town.

The energy company will invest 750,000 euros in the construction of the small liquefied natural gas (LNG) satellite plant, which will enable the energy to be supplied to around a thousand homes in the town, and will also build a five kilometre distribution network. Work on this new infrastructure will begin over the next few days, which means the first customers will be able to enjoy natural gas by the end of the year.

During the event, the Director General of Gas Natural Castille and León gave the Mayor of Villasana de Mena a commemorative plaque to mark the arrival of natural has to the town.
