Blue Ship Invest, a wholly-owned company in Ulstein Group, has entered into an agreement with Atlantic Offshore on management of the third out of six platform supply vessel of ULSTEIN’s PX121 type design. Currently under construction at Ulstein Verft, the vessel is scheduled for delivery in February 2013. The agreement includes commercial and technical management.
Atlantic Offshore is based at Sotra, Norway, with branch office in Aberdeen, Scotland. The company currently operates 24 vessels within several market segments, where the main segments are multirole rescue vessels (Rescue/Environmental/Supply/Tanker Assist Vessels) and platform supply vessels.
“We are very pleased with this solution. Atlantic Offshore, established in 2008, is experienced and we believe this is a good solution” , says CEO Gunvor Ulstein in Ulstein Group , adding that all Blue Ship Invest’s vessels are for sale.
