The Parchin pressure booster station has been established at the cost of 1.4 trillion rials, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Javad Owji announced.

According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, the launch of this gas facility provides the stability of gas transmission in Northern and Northeastern provinces of the country.

He stated that two high pressure gas stations in Semnan and Dasht would come online up to 20 December.

Parchin and Semnan gas facilities have the capacity to transfer 58 million cubic meters of gas per day to Northern provinces of the country.

“With regard to these initiatives, it is expected that the country leaves behind the coming winter without any trouble,” he said.
