U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced the details about the Oceanside Harbor maintenance dredging, San Diego County, California.

The project consists of annual maintenance dredging of the Oceanside Harbor federal navigation channel and sand trap.

This will be a multi-year contract to cover 3-years – the base contract year, with options for the following 2 years of dredging. Approximately 180,000 cubic yards of material should be dredged annually.

The dredged material will be placed on the beach south of Oceanside Pier (south of Tyson Street). The estimated cost range of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
