ConocoPhillips will use the Rowan Norway jack-up rig to drill three new production wells on Ekofisk 2/4-B complex in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.
The PSA Norway has given its consent for the use of the rig which was recently granted an Acknowledgement of Compliance .
ConocoPhillips will drill new production wells on Ekofisk 2/4-B in the form of sidetracks from existing wells. At the same time, the old wells will be permanently abandoned. The drilling programme will last until mid-2014.
