At the end of April, 59 wind turbines had been connected to the grid. It corresponds to a total capacity of 212.4MW, and the capacity in Anholt Offshore Wind Farm thus exceeds the capacity of Horns Rev 2 of 209MW. This makes Anholt Offshore Wind Farm the largest offshore wind farm in Denmark.
Also, DONG Energy, Grenaa Havn A/S and Norddjurs Kommune are presenting one the Denmark’s greatest music bands, TV2, who will give a concert in Grenaa on Saturday 8 June 2013 at 21:00.
The concert will close the large event at Grenaa Harbour, where Grenaa will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of Grenaa Harbour, and at the same time, DONG Energy will mark the completion of the installation activities in Anholt Offshore Wind Farm.
The event is primarily for citizens in Norddjurs and Syddjurs; however, it may be of interest to all citizens in Eastern Jutland and others. Admission is free.
