Veripos, leading suppliers of high-precision GNSS positioning facilities for the world offshore oil and gas industries, has appointed three new business development managers with responsibility for increasing regional sales.
David Hampshire, formerly with Trimble Omnistar, Fugro and Racal, joins the company’s Aberdeen-based Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) division together with Andrew Wallace, previously responsible for developing new marine business on behalf of Applied Weather Technology (AWT).
Meanwhile, in Houston, former GNSS technical support specialist Patrick Zimmer has been appointed Associate Sales Manager responsible for developing further business throughout Veripos’s Americas region covering both North and South as well as Central America. He was formerly with Baker Hughes having previously served in the US Navy.
Commenting on the appointments, Veripos Executive Vice-President Commercial Richard Turner said they represented a further stage in the company’s continuing progress towards providing an unrivalled range of satellite positioning services for all sectors of the global offshore exploration and production industry.
