A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Michael Fallon, Business and Energy Minister of the UK took place as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013.
The parties addressed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. In particular, Alexey Miller and Michael Fallon discussed the prospects for boosting Russian natural gas supplies to the UK market.
“We are interested in boosting Russian natural gas supplies to the UK market and we hope for deeper cooperation in gas storage, power generation and infrastructure projects,” said Michael Fallon.
