Total gas sales volume by Japan’s Tokyo Gas for the month of June came to about 1,009.835 million m3, up 2.9% to that in June 2012.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 191.636 million m3, down 8.0% from June 2012, while in the business sector (consisting of commercial, public, and medical use), volume totaled 185.27 million m3, up 5.1% from June 2012.
In the industrial sector, volume totaled 467.565 million m3, up 8.6% from June 2012, due to the development of new demands following the commencement of the new trunk lines and the increased demand for power generation.
Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 165.364 million m3, down 0.6% from June 2012.
