The new appointment will add further strength and expertise to the existing management team and will support Reftrade UK as it continues to grow and expand its product offering to the offshore energy industry. In the two years prior to joining Reftrade UK, Cruickshank was employed at Osprey3 Ltd, where he held the position of procurement and stores controller. Having previously held positions at Enfilter Ltd and Ace Winches. Greg Spence, Reftrade UK managing director said: “Alex is a valuable addition to the company, his extensive industry experience and technical expertise are key in helping us deliver the highest quality solutions to our customers, through both the sale and lease of our refrigerated solutions. “Alex will take on a range of key responsibilities which will ensure the company’s operations continue to run efficiently and safely, his previous experience in management and site supervision make him the ideal appointment. “Alex’s own values and behaviours strongly align with those of Reftrade UK and combined with his successful track record, expertise and strong skill set, I am confident Alex will play a key role in delivering our strategic growth plans.” Commenting on the appointment Cruickshank said: “ I am thrilled to be joining Reftrade UK at a time of significant growth and development, this is an exciting move for me. “The experience and knowledge that I have acquired in previous roles means that I am well placed to assist in the senior management of the company’s operations whilst improving the efficiency of the supply chain. “I look forward to taking on the new responsibilities that this role has to offer, engaging with our customers to ensure we continue to deliver the highest standards of service and safety, while continuing to pioneer in the field of innovative refrigerated solutions.
