Qatar Petroleum (QP), along with some of its joint ventures and subsidiaries as well as its Industrial Cities Directorate, took part in the 22nd World Energy Congress 2013, which was held last October 13-17 at the EXCO (Daegu Exhibition and Convention Center) in South Korea.

The congress was hosted by the World Energy Council and WEC Korean Member Committee and the theme of the event was “Securing Tomorrow’s Energy Today.”

QP was one of the major participants in the 22nd World Energy Congress exhibition. The QP stand prominently showcased the corporation’s operations including those of its Industrial Cities Directorate, and it also highlighted the activities of RasGas Company Limited (RasGas), and Qatar Fuel Additives Company Limited (QAFAC).

The QP stand attracted many visitors and delegates on all days of the event, and they mainly inquired about QP’s operations, its subsidiaries, joint ventures and the other investments all over the world.

The event, which is held every three years, brings together prominent energy leaders, investors, energy experts, industry professionals and students from more than 110 countries. Over 200 companies participated in the 22,000-square-meter exhibition of the 22nd World Energy Congress.
