Atkins has received a $19 million (AUD) flow assurance contract for the INPEX-operated Ichthys Project, offshore of Western Australia.
The project will take gas from the Ichthys Field, in the Browse Basin, which will then undergo preliminary processing by offshore facilities. The gas will be exported to onshore processing facilities in Darwin, Northern Territory, via an 889km pipeline and processed through a LNG processing plant.
Atkins’ scope of work includes flow assurance, systems engineering and ad-hoc process engineering support through Execute Stage to initial start-up, for international oil and gas E&P company, INPEX.
