Rosneft Presidnet Igor Sechin on Thursday held a working meeting with Rex Tillerson, Chairman and CEO of Exxon Mobil.
“ The parties discussed the implementation of ongoing projects, including the construction of an LNG plant on Sakhalin, design solutions for developing of the Northern tip of the Chaivo field, provision of drilling works for the Arctic offshore, cooperation on developing fields with tight oil reserves, as well as Rosneft’s participation in international joint ventures ,” Rosneft said in a statement.
“ The parties considered prospects for developing the companies’ cooperation, in particular, potential joint offshore projects ,” the company added.
