Gazprom’s Alexey Miller met on Monday in Moscow with Yury Boiko, Acting Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine.
“ The parties addressed the issues of operation in the winter period and repayment of the existing gas debt by Naftogaz Ukrainy ,” Gazprom said in a statement.
Ukraine reportedly owes Russia about $3.3 billion in unpaid natural gas bills and may fail to pay on time for the gas delivered in 2013 and in January.
