Qatar Petroleum (QP) is taking part in the 8th Offshore Arabia 2014 Conference and Exhibition, which is currently being held at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3-5 March 2014.

His Excellency Dr. Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad , Minister of Environment and Water of the United Arab Emirates, inaugurated the event and he also visited the QP stand, where he was received by members of the QP delegation and was briefed on the corporation’s ongoing projects and future expansion plans.

“QP is a major exhibitor at Offshore Arabia 2014, and the QP stand has attracted a large number of delegates and visitors, many of whom have inquired about cooperation opportunities with the corporation as well as on QP’s current projects. The event is thus giving QP the opportunity to introduce its activities and operations in the oil and gas industry,” the company said in a press release.

Now in its 8th edition, Offshore Arabia 2014 is organized by the Regional Clean Sea Organization (Recso), with the theme “Regional Oil Spill Prevention & Preparedness.” The event has attracted the participation of more than 40 companies from all over the world.
